Zwift's new draft indicator will make it easier for Zwifters to perfect their positioning in the bunch, and the all-new ride report screen gives you your essential information where you need it.
Zwift, the biggest training destination for cyclists, is announcing two big quality-of-life improvements. A new Draft Indicator answers one of the most requested features, and an updated post-ride report screen builds on Zwift’s investment in training, which now allows Zwifters to track their fitness progression, and much more, after each ride.
The new Draft Indicator is the perfect tool for Zwifters seeking a little shelter with the draft of another rider. Whether you are riding solo, or racing, the Draft Indicator now clearly shows how much shelter you are getting from the riders in front. The wider the draft indicator bar, the better your draft position is. Whether it is racing, group riding, or holding a wheel on a climb, Zwifters will always know how much draft benefit they’re getting.
Also rolling out today is an all new Progress Report screen that focuses on career stats and an overview of Zwifter’s cycling performance.Building on the success of Zwift’s Fitness Tracking, Zwifters can now track their progress after every ride. On the updated screen, Zwifters can track their weekly goal progression, streak totals, training score and status. The training score represents training load - intensity, duration and frequency as an easy-to-track score. Weekly Goals can be set as Kilojoules, Stress Points, calories, distance or time. The status classes Zwifters as: Ready, Fresh, Productive, Overreaching or Detraining. Fitness Tracking is also available in Zwift Companion, which helps Zwifters keep track of their fitness progress over time with historical graphs of metrics, like Training Goals, Training Score, Training Status and Zwift Streak. In addition to fitness tracking, career progress allows Zwifters not only to see what level they are, but also how many XP they’ve earned from their last ride and how many more they need to level up. Bike Upgrade progress allows Zwifters to see how far they’ve got to unlock the next bike upgrade. Every bike in Zwift has 5 stages to unlock, and completion progress is visible in the garage. Achievements and route badges are also tracked.
For performance statistics: 1 year power bests of 5 second, 1 minute, 5 minute and 20 minutes are tracked with pace group, FTP and Race Score all being highlighted on the summary screen.
