RELEASE NOTES for 1.89 - UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL RELEASE IS LIVE

Here is what you can expect in the upcoming release and what events are on the horizon. The release is expected to go live Tuesday, May 6th at approximately 15:30 UTC. This release will be a rolling release, meaning we will scale up the percentage of people with the release over a few days to minimize bugs or crashes. Below you will find the updates included in this release. 

All Platforms

• New bike day! Liv Langma Advanced SL 2025 (Aero: 3 stars, Weight: 3 stars) is now available in the Drop Shop for Zwifters at Level 8 for 1,000,000 Drops. Giant TCR Advanced SL 2025 (Aero: 3 stars, Weight: 4 stars) is now available in the Drop Shop for Zwifters at Level 25 for 1,100,000 Drops.

• Fixed an issue that could cause the Scotty the Squirrel streak flair to render incorrectly when viewing your avatar in the Garage.

• Improved UI navigation via Zwift Ride and Play controllers.

• Improved the consistency of the mini map's sprint location in the Croissant route in France.

• Improved Climb Portal completion reliability.

• The Ultra graphics profile is now enabled for the following graphics cards: Intel® Arc™ B580, AMD Radeon™ RX 9070.

• Android: Fixed an issue that could cause chains to be missing on some bikes.

• iOS: Stability improvements.

May 12 - 19

Ride Like King 17 is back from May 12–19, celebrating cycling’s power to change lives. For every 500 km ridden, a Buffalo Bike will be donated through World Bicycle Relief, helping to provide life-changing mobility. Riders can unlock the exclusive RLK17 kit, join community rides with Giant and Liv ambassadors, and even win a limited-edition jersey. Every kilometer counts—ride with purpose and help make a global impact.

Warm Up Rides: May 12 - 15

Join the Ride to Raise warm-up rides, where every km counts toward Buffalo Bike donations. Complete any of these events to unlock the in-game RLK17 kit. During these events, Zwifters will be riding the Giant TCR Advanced SL and Liv Langma Advanced SL bikes. Love the ride? They are now available in the Drop Shop if you meet the level requirements.

Celebration Rides: May 16 - 19

Ride with Giant and Liv ambassadors in these community-led events. Complete these rides to unlock the in-game RLK17 kit. Completing the ride also enters you for a chance to win an exclusive IRL RLK17 jersey from Giant.

April 14 - June 2

Whether you’re keeping up with friends or plotting your breakaway, Zwift Camp: Inside Out is your secret weapon for consistent training. Each week of this 6-week program, hone your sweet spot zone and power up your outdoor rides with progressively harder workouts!

Zwift Camp: Inside Out is comprised of 5 workouts and one new route. Stages can be completed in events or on-demand and only when the stage is open. Each week, the next stage will open so you are working out at least once each week. Check out the workouts here: Zwift.com/zwift-camp

We have also developed a workout sheet to print out and keep you accountable to training 2-3 times per week. This can be found HERE. Only one workout is needed to complete the campaign but tack on some additional rides during the week, including your outdoor rides, to keep your fitness gains up.
