THIS INFORMATION IS UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL April 2nd, 15:30 UTC // 11:30 AM EST // 08:30 AM PDT, UNLESS SPECIFIED
Here is what you can expect in the upcoming release and what events are on the horizon. The release is expected to go live Wednesday, April 2nd at approximately 15:30 UTC. This release will be a rolling release, meaning we will scale up the percentage of people with the release over a few days to minimize bugs or crashes. Below you will find the updates included in this release.
- Zwift’s France map has some exciting new updates! With this release, the Ven-Top route now includes a HUD display mirroring the Grade’s climb experience with 10 equidistant sections highlighted on screen. Additionally, when you summit this epic climb, you’ll now receive the Alpe du Zwift spinner!
- Time to turn on the fun with the all-new Streak Flair! You’ve worked hard to keep your streak up (and your fitness up) for all these weeks, now you can show everyone with a Scotty in your jersey pocket. As your streak grows, your Scotty flair becomes more elaborate. Learn more about Streak Flair here: zwift.com/streak-flair
- Fixed an issue that could cause an incorrect value to be shown in the Weekly Goal Met in-game banner.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a Zwifter's kit to revert to the default Zwift kit after leaving a group ride or event.
- Improved an issue that could cause intermittent shadows to flicker on Zwifter avatars in some conditions.
- Android: Improved readability and usability of form input fields (login, profile settings, custom workout editor on tablets, etc.).
Brace yourself because on April 7 / 8 (depending on your local time zone), new roads and routes are dropping in France in homage to the Paris-Roubaix and Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift. Also known as the “Hell of the North,” expect the infamous cobbles, storied sprint segments, and epic fun around every corner. New crowds will cheer you on along the road, just like the real deal, so you’ll hear just what the pros hear with every arch you cross. Take on the new “Hell of a Route Chaser” challenge to check off five of the new routes, and if you’re up for the task, join the Paris-Roubaix Femmes avec Zwift Experience rides from April 11-13 and conquer the cobblestone chaos in the new 50 km and 70 km routes.
We all know that staying consistent is the secret to getting stronger. Whether you’re chasing PRs or just enjoying the ride, streaks are a powerful motivator—and now, they come with a fun, visual reward. Streak Flair is a brand-new way to showcase your Zwift Streak! With this update, your avatar’s jersey pocket will now display a special piece of flair that becomes more elaborate as your streak grows.
If you’ve been keeping your streak alive, your avatar will proudly display your progress with some pocket flair. But if you miss a week? Your Scotty flair will shyly retreat back into your back pocket, waiting for you to build your streak back up.
🔹 Level 1 – A Pocket Medal appears to mark your growing commitment to fitness as you hit your fourth week streak. You'll keep this flair until you reach 12 weeks.
🔹 Level 2 – A Keychain Scotty peeks out, showing off your dedication when you reach 12 weeks. Keep riding each week with your keychain friend until you reach 24 weeks.
🔹 Level 3 – Animated Scotty! Now your pocket companion moves with a fun animation when you achieve a massive 24 week streak! This friendly Scotty will ride along with you as long as you hold onto your streak from here on out.
At launch, your Streak Flair will default to OFF and you can select FUN to show your flair in the setting screen:
🎉 Fun – Show Scotty-based unlocks (Pocket Medal, Keychain Scotty, Animated Scotty)
🚫 None – No flair at all (this is the default setting)
Simply head into your settings to adjust your flair preference anytime. So, whether you’re flexing a four-week streak or pushing past the six-month mark, your dedication deserves some flair! Get ready to ride, show off your hard-earned streak status in Zwift, and let Scotty enjoy the ride from your back pocket. 🚴♂️🔥
