RELEASE NOTES for 1.75 - UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL RELEASE IS LIVE

Here is what you can expect in the upcoming release and what events are on the horizon. The release is expected to go live Tuesday, October 1st at approximately 15:30 UTC. This release will be a rolling release, meaning we will scale up the percentage of people with the release over a few days to minimize bugs or crashes. Below you will find the updates included in this release. 

All Platforms

• When long messages are shown in the HUD (e.g., Ride Ons received from a Zwifter with a long name, friends riding in the same world), the message now scrolls instead of being truncated.

• Fixed an issue that could potentially prevent Zwifters from completing events on the Sleepless City route in Makuri Islands.

Windows

• Fixed a potential visual issue that could occur when Zwifting through underwater tunnels.

tvOS

• Fixed an issue that could cause the steering force field effect not to be visible.

• Fixed an issue that could potentially cause the virtual shifting "Shift Style" setting to not be remembered between sessions.

iOS

• Fixed an issue that could cause the "Quit Event" button to overlap with the "Menu" button when participating in an event on some Apple tablets.

Android

• Fixed an issue that could cause the "Quit Event" button to overlap with the "Menu" button when participating in an event on some Android tablets.

OCTOBER 3 - 6

Join us for four days of celebration with community leaders, pros, employees, and more. We’re bringing the fun to fan-favorite routes, where ride leaders will take the peloton over new 10-year-inspired road art and close out the ride with the limited-edition 10th Anniversary kit. Don't miss this chance to ride, reminisce, and unlock the kit of the decade! Rides with pros will be rubberbanded so nobody if left off the back, no matter the pace.

Leading up to the event, RoboPacers will have a new party outfit for the week and fireworks will be coming to Watopia! You need to be on release version 1.75, near Watopia pier at night to see the show.

From October 7 to November 24, ZRacing will bring you the "Community Racing Festival," where we'll feature a series of exhilarating events hosted by community clubs. This is a chance to dive into the rich tapestry of community racing, discover new clubs, and connect with Zwift Racing League teams and other key racing series. For our clubs, this is a golden opportunity to increase visibility, grow membership, and showcase their events to a wider audience.

Get ready for an action-packed festival celebrating the passion and enthusiasm that fuels our racing community. Let’s make this the most thrilling season yet!

OCTOBER 14 - NOVEMBER 24

Tour of Watopia is coming back! Registration will open on September 30, and events will be live starting October 15.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Zwift, and Tour of Watopia 2024 is primed and ready to celebrate a decade of cycling and running fun. The 2024 ToW will take riders on a trip back in time, starting with some of the first routes in Watopia. From there, it’s all about cruising through fan-favorite routes all the way to Zwift’s roots, where a special surprise awaits. And to top it off, Zwifters will earn Double XP and epic unlocks all along the way!
