Zwift Release 1.70 & Upcoming Events

RELEASE NOTES for 1.70 - UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL RELEASE IS LIVE

Here is what you can expect in the upcoming release and what events are on the horizon. The release is expected to go live Monday, July 29th at approximately 15:00 UTC. This release will be a rolling release, meaning we will scale up the percentage of people with the release over a few days to minimize bugs or crashes. Below you will find the updates included in this release. 

• Zwifters are now automatically registered for the Everest Challenge if they have not previously selected a challenge. 

• The Canyon Aeroad 2024 is available to purchase in the Drop Shop. Details in this thread.

• Fixed an issue where the bottom drop buttons (i.e. LB and RB) on the Zwift Ride controllers were unresponsive when the Menu button was selected.

• Fixed an issue where the “Event Closed” notification could potentially not be dismissed.

• Fixed an issue where power-ups granted during meet-ups may not be properly randomized.

• Minor localization improvements for Spanish, German, Italian, and French languages.

Android:

• Fixed an issue that could potentially cause a sun flare to incorrectly appear on the roadway.
