Zwift Release 1.63 & Upcoming Events

Here is what you can expect in the upcoming release and what events are on the horizon. The release is expected to go live Tuesday, April 16th at approximately 16:00 UTC. This release will be a rolling release, meaning we will scale up the percentage of people with the release over a few days to minimize bugs or crashes. Below you will find the updates included in this release.

RELEASE NOTES for 1.63 - UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL RELEASE IS LIVE

  • Zwift Play: Brake sensitivity can now be adjusted in Settings, ranging from maximum sensitivity to off.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause cyclists with connected steering devices to automatically steer towards the center of a lane after a while.
  • Virtual Shifting: Fixed an issue in workouts where shifting quickly after starting a Free Ride block could result in the current gear being reset to 12.
  • Added eight routes now available for freeride: Loop de Loop, Zwift Games 2024 Epic, Castle Crit Run, Big Flat 8, Mountain Mash, Spiral into the Volcano, Castle Crit, Jurassic Coast.
  • In-game achievement banners are now displayed for a longer period to make sure you don't miss a celebratory moment.
  • Fixed an issue that could potentially make it difficult to dismiss the Ride Report when navigating with a keyboard, Apple TV remote, or Zwift Play.
  • Fixed a potential crash that could occur when capturing a screenshot.
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent some treadmills from connecting to Zwift.

Android:

  • Fixed an issue that could cause screenshots to not be saved on some Android devices.

Spring Training 2024 registration is now open, with events kicking off Monday, April 15! Zwift Spring Training will have six stages, over six weeks featuring six new indoor workouts. Zwifters can sign up for group workouts or head to the workout collection to complete any stage individually, on-demand. Visit zwift.com/spring-training to register and find out more.
